Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic power tools and hand tools under the supervision of certified leads.
- Quality Control: Help maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure all tasks meet project specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and ensure efficiency.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy materials (50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous work or education.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Teamwork: Willingness to work collaboratively with a diverse team of skilled tradespeople.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent work experience).
