Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up barriers.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials efficiently and safely to the job site.
- General Labor: Perform manual labor tasks including lifting heavy objects, carrying lumber, and assisting skilled tradespeople.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment under the supervision of a foreman.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by sweeping and cleaning up at the end of each shift.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Support: Assist in various tasks as assigned to ensure project milestones are met on schedule.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and have a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Basic English skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Documentation: Must possess a valid ID and authorization to work in the United States.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but willing to train motivated candidates.
