Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site tasks.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, lifting, debris removal, and cleanup.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and project managers.
- Perform minor equipment maintenance checks before use.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and standing for long periods.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
