Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including excavation, material handling, and site cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Assist skilled trades (carpentry, masonry, electrical) with material prep
- Maintain OSHA-compliant safety protocols at all times
- Complete daily shift reports and equipment inspections
- Adhere to project timelines and contractor requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Flexible availability (early mornings, weekends, overtime)
- Own basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, utility knife)
