Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily operational tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, marking areas, and setting up temporary barriers.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, jackhammers, or generators under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform basic measurements, cutting, and mixing of materials as directed by supervisors.
- Handle waste disposal and site cleanup duties at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and quantity calculations.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols is a plus.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
