Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks including carpentry, masonry, and electrical work.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools under supervision when required.
- Perform general cleanup and maintenance of the job site to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents.
- Read and interpret blueprints and basic project plans.
- Assist in digging, pouring, and leveling concrete as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
