Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks efficiently.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various on-site tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of debris in strict compliance with safety regulations.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment safely and correctly under supervision.
- Preparation: Perform basic measurements, mixing of concrete, and preparation of work areas.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Transportation: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Endurance: Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for long durations.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
