Responsibilities
- Material Transport: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using hand trucks, forklifts, or personal vehicles.
- Site Preparation: Perform site preparation tasks including digging, leveling, and clearing debris to ensure a safe work environment.
- Assist Trades: Support skilled tradespeople with basic tasks such as holding materials, cleaning work areas, and setting up temporary structures.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep tools and machinery clean, organized, and in good working order.
- Quality Control: Help ensure that work meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Availability: Must be available to work part-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively with the team.
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is a plus but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screen.
