Responsibilities
- Site Preparation & Cleanup: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, laying down tarps, and ensuring the work area is clean and safe.
- Material Handling: Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and transport them to designated areas safely.
- Trade Support: Provide general support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled laborers as directed by the project foreman.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep tools organized, clean, and in good working condition after use.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe job site for everyone.
- Assisting with Demolition/Remodeling: Perform basic demolition tasks and help with general remodeling projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking on uneven terrain.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and committed to showing up for scheduled shifts. Consistency is key to our team's success.
- Basic Knowledge: Familiarity with construction tools and safety equipment is a plus, but on-the-job training is provided.
- Teamwork: Must be able to work effectively as part of a larger crew and communicate clearly with supervisors.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are preferred for site mobility.
- No Experience Required: We welcome entry-level applicants who are eager to learn and grow in the construction field.
