Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment in a safe and organized manner.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site tasks.
- Perform general site cleanup, including removing debris and maintaining a tidy work area.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed by the project supervisor.
- Perform basic measurements and assist in blueprint interpretation when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required (training provided).
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is highly desirable.
