Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Prepare and organize work areas, ensuring safety standards are met at all times.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, mounting outlets, and fixture installation.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of work performed.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; however, a high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders safely.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to obtain required state apprenticeship certifications.
