Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment such as jackhammers, concrete mixers, and pressure washers under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by cleaning up spills and organizing tools.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, carpenters, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Safety Awareness: Ability to follow safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn.
