Responsibilities
- Site Preparation & Maintenance: Clear debris, level ground, and prepare construction sites for the day's work.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the site.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) under supervision.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Trade Assistance: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople as needed.
- Documentation: Assist with basic site logs and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle are preferred.
- Experience: Prior construction or general labor experience is a plus; however, we provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Safety First: Must be willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to strict safety protocols.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well within a team structure.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members.
