Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labor duties including digging, hauling, and lifting heavy materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various tasks on the job site.
- Operate basic construction equipment and machinery such as forklifts, skid steers, and concrete mixers.
- Prepare and clean job sites to ensure a safe and organized working environment.
- Mix concrete, mortar, or other materials according to specifications.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and site plans.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; we train the right candidates.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
