Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site tasks.
- Operate basic construction machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure the job site remains clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and project schedules.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging trenches, mixing concrete, and cleaning areas.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA 10/30 preferred but not required).
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow within the trades.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
