Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Transport, load, and unload construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and construction equipment safely under the supervision of senior tradespeople.
- Assisting Trades: Provide direct support to carpenters, electricians, and masons as needed to ensure project timelines are met.
- Quality Control: Assist in inspecting work for compliance with blueprints and safety standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but willing to train motivated candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Georgia Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety gear is a plus.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and a team player.
