Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily project tasks and material handling.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Prepare and clean job sites, including clearing debris and setting up work areas.
- Operate basic construction machinery and tools under direct supervision.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, trenching, and lifting heavy objects.
- Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid Texas driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimation.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team setting.
