Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear work areas, remove debris, and prepare sites for construction activities.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and equipment as directed by site supervisors.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons, etc.) with daily tasks and general labor.
- Measurements: Perform basic measurements, cutting tasks, and mixing materials under supervision.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and in good condition.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Tools: Familiarity with basic construction tools and power equipment is preferred.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly and communicate effectively with the team.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
