Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site prep, and equipment operation
- Follow blueprints and safety protocols on commercial/residential sites
- Load/unload trucks and organize construction materials efficiently
- Perform concrete work, demolition, and finishing tasks as needed
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and comply with OSHA standards
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely
- Participate in daily briefings and progress meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime when required
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety excellence
