Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including framing, drywall, and concrete work.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and store them safely.
- Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris and following safety protocols.
- Perform site preparation tasks such as excavation, grading, and shoring.
- Measure, cut, and fit building materials to specifications.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
