Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, excavating, and grading the land according to blueprints.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials (bricks, lumber, concrete) safely and efficiently.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and levels, under supervision.
- Assist Tradesmen: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and plumbers as needed on various job sites.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety compliance.
- Measurements: Assist in measuring and cutting materials to specified dimensions.
- Transportation: Transport materials to and from the job site using trucks or dollies.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs).
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is preferred but not required for eager learners.
- Work Ethic: A strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Tools: Familiarity with basic hand tools is a plus.
- Valid ID: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
