Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and hauling materials to prepare construction sites.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site duties.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials and equipment correctly.
- Communication: Follow written and verbal instructions from site supervisors and foremen.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor, stand for long periods, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not mandatory (willing to train the right candidate).
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Skills: Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and general hand tool usage.
- Background: Must pass a standard background check and drug screen.
