Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks on the job site.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery, including forklifts and jackhammers, under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Perform site preparation, including digging, trenching, and concrete finishing.
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding project progress.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
