Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks like digging trenches, pouring concrete, and framing structures
- Operate hand tools (hammers, saws, drills) and light machinery (concrete mixers, jackhammers)
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Load/unload construction materials and transport equipment to job sites
- Perform site cleanup and waste disposal throughout workday
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid photo ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions (heat, rain, dust)
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Dallas metro
- Pass mandatory background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measuring materials
- Flexible availability for early morning starts (5-7 AM)
