Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment, including power saws, drills, and jackhammers (under supervision).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and installations.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized job site to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred but not required (training available).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work well in a team.
- Communication: Basic communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
