Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and preparation of construction sites, including digging, hauling, and cleaning.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
- Perform basic measurements and assist with blueprint interpretation.
- Collaborate with crew members to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and keep work areas organized.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic understanding of construction terminology and safety procedures.
- Reliable transportation and valid ID/Driver's License.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights when necessary.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
