Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials (wood, bricks, concrete) to work sites using hand trucks or forklifts.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment such as jackhammers, saws, and generators under supervision.
- Site Cleanliness: Maintain a safe and organized job site by cleaning up spills and removing trash regularly.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) by fetching tools and performing necessary physical tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance record is mandatory.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; Entry Level applicants with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
