Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily tasks and operations.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site by removing debris and waste.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly to prevent accidents.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, leveling, and concrete work.
- Perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is highly preferred.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Long Beach job sites.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Valid driver's license (preferred but not always required for general labor).
