Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills, etc.) with precision and safety
- Assist skilled tradespeople in carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to meet OSHA compliance standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physically demanding tasks
- Participate in daily safety briefings and adhere to all PPE protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Commitment to punctuality and reliable attendance
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- OSHA 10-hour certification (provided upon hiring)
- Strong work ethic and team collaboration skills
