Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site tasks, including framing, drywalling, and painting.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment (hand and power tools) safely and correctly.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and site-specific safety rules to maintain a secure work environment.
- Perform general cleanup and maintenance of the construction site to ensure a professional appearance.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, plans, and diagrams as directed by the foreman.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Ability to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not strictly required for the right candidate.
