Responsibilities
Daily Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various construction tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools to and from the job site.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and skid steers (if certified).
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Set up and break down temporary structures and scaffolding.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and job specifications.
- Perform site preparation, excavation, and concrete work as directed.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols (OSHA 10 preferred).
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience in general construction labor is a plus but not required for entry-level.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as project needs arise.
