Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and installations.
- Perform general site cleanup, including removal of debris, dirt, and waste materials.
- Operate basic construction machinery, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and compressors.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, layout markings, and work orders.
- Prepare surfaces and materials for construction processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights if required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not strictly required.
