Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Perform residential and commercial plumbing installations, including piping, fixtures, and water heaters.
- Diagnostics: Identify and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues, leaks, and blockages using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Compliance: Adhere to all local and state building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues and provide transparent estimates.
- Tools & Safety: Properly utilize hand and power tools, while maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Plumber license in New York State (Apprenticeship license considered for entry-level roles).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional plumbing experience (Entry-level candidates with technical certifications are encouraged to apply).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs) and work in confined spaces, heights, and various weather conditions.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose root causes of plumbing failures efficiently.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Tools: Own reliable transportation and basic hand tools (additional tools provided by company).
