Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily on-site operations and project completion.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools efficiently.
- Operate heavy machinery and basic power tools safely and accurately.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and ensuring proper site organization.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting, and pouring concrete as directed.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physically fit and capable of performing heavy manual labor for extended periods.
- Experience in general construction or a related skilled trade is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read basic blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.
