Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction activities and project execution
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Complete daily task logs and report equipment issues promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for 8+ hours daily
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurement and task completion
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
