Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks on job sites.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Perform physical labor including digging, hauling, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by removing debris and following safety protocols.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools as directed by the site supervisor.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and site layouts when applicable.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for long periods in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as project needs arise.
