Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and levels, under the guidance of foremen.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks on the job site.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure site safety.
- Perform site preparation tasks, including digging, pouring concrete, and framing support structures.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (optional but preferred).
- Basic understanding of construction terminology and safety practices.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Steel-toed boots and personal protective equipment (PPE) are required.
