Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, plans, and diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Assist in the assembly and erection of structural frameworks and building materials.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Ensure the construction site is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies strictly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school background is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record required.
- Physically capable of performing heavy labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work at heights on scaffolding or ladders safely.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards and site regulations.
- Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends as project demands require.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
