Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various on-site tasks.
- Operate basic power tools and hand tools under supervision.
- Clean and prepare job sites, ensuring debris is removed and areas are safe.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Measure, cut, and assist in the basic assembly of structures as directed.
- Perform general labor duties including digging, trenching, and lifting heavy objects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as project demands require.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus.
- Previous experience in construction or labor is helpful but not mandatory (on-the-job training provided).
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and foremen.
