Key Duties:
- Assist in various phases of construction including excavation, framing, and finishing.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating materials.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not always required.
- Valid Driver's License is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily construction site operations and material handling.
- Load, unload, and organize construction supplies and equipment.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery (as trained).
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and site-specific protocols.
- Perform basic measurements and assist with rough carpentry tasks.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Valid state-issued ID or driver's license.
- Reliable transportation to the job site.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Experience in construction or general labor is a plus.
- Must be willing to pass a background check.
