Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily tasks such as carpentry, drywall hanging, masonry, or painting support.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers, generators) safely and according to protocols.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and safety instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform site preparation, including excavation, grading, and debris removal.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating quantities.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
