Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to strict safety protocols
- Perform manual tasks including digging, lifting, and operating hand/power tools
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
- Operate light machinery (bobcats, forklifts) with proper certification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
