Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with tasks like material handling, equipment operation, and site preparation
- Maintain clean and safe work environments by following OSHA guidelines
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Operate hand/power tools and construction machinery under supervision
- Perform physical labor including lifting, digging, and debris removal
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license (preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and PPE usage
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte metro area
- No prior construction experience necessary—comprehensive training provided
