Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and tool setup
- Operate light machinery (saws, drills, compactors) under supervisor guidance
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Read blueprints and verbal instructions to execute construction tasks accurately
- Perform quality checks on completed work and report issues immediately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic hand tool knowledge and willingness to learn equipment operation
