Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials (50+ lbs).
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily on-site operations.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and project specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Prepare surfaces for construction by removing debris and leveling ground.
- Unload and organize materials from delivery trucks.
Qualifications
- Physically fit with the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Commitment to safety protocols and following verbal/written instructions.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and work as part of a team.
