Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Assist carpenters and masons with material installation and structural support
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery under supervision
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Participate in daily safety briefings and hazard mitigation
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction labor or related experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Jacksonville metro
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong work ethic and punctuality in fast-paced environments
