Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery safely (bobcats, forklifts, saws) with proper certifications
- Assist carpenters and masons with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing work
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise construction execution
- Manage inventory and transport materials to designated work areas
- Complete daily timecards and project documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and flexible hours
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
