Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks.
- Follow all site safety regulations and OSHA guidelines to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Prepare and clean work sites, including removing debris and ensuring the area is organized.
- Perform basic measurements and assist with blueprint interpretation where necessary.
- Transport materials to and from job sites using company vehicles or tools.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors.
