Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, grading, and leveling the ground.
- Tool Operation: Operate and maintain basic construction tools and power equipment under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Support Operations: Provide essential support to carpenters, electricians, and masons to ensure project timelines are met.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a productive workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred; however, we offer on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends or overtime during peak seasons.
