Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks on the job site.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing and cleaning areas, moving debris, and setting up temporary workstations.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, concrete, and other materials according to blueprints and specifications.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Operate basic power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Assist in basic site preparation, including digging trenches, grading, and leveling.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand basic blueprints or instructions.
- Experience in general labor or construction is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
